For 2023, the Bronco Sport is offered in Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands trim levels, along with the Heritage and Heritage Limited special editions, each with unique styling cues. The Bronco Sport offers features that make it stand out from other SUVs, such as its model-specific grilles, a safari-style roof, flip-up rear window, adjustable tailgate floodlights, and tailgate bottle openers.

The Base model has LED headlights, configurable daytime running lights, 17-inch wheels, power mirrors, and black roof rails. The Big Bend trim offers alloy wheels, heated mirrors, and rear privacy glass. The Outer Banks adds a black roof, LED fog lamps and signature lighting, a windshield wiper de-icer, 18-inch wheels, and body-color door handles. The Badlands trim adds more off-road capability with raised suspension, metal bash plates, tow hooks, and 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.

Standard power for the Bronco Sport is provided by a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the all-wheel-drive system. The Badlands and Heritage Limited models come with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo that delivers 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

With its compact dimensions and nimble handling, the Bronco Sport is easy to drive around town and offers a refined ride on the highway. When you head off the beaten path, the G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) terrain management system features normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand drive modes. The Badlands trim adds Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes, along with off-road suspension and a twin-clutch rear drive unit.

The Bronco Sport features a cleverly designed cabin with many intelligent storage solutions. Behind the rear seats, you have up to 32.5 cubic feet of cargo space, while folding down the 60/40-split second row gives you a 65.2-cubic-foot cargo area with carabiner hooks and loops to keep your gear in place. With the available cargo management system, you even get a pullout camp table.

In the Base model, you'll find stylish cloth upholstery, a 4.2-inch instrument display, and air conditioning. The infotainment system has an 8-inch touchscreen, smartphone compatibility, voice recognition, and a six-speaker sound system. The Big Bend offers push-button start, upgraded cloth seating, and a front seat back MOLLE strap system for easily securing items.

With the Outer Banks trim, you get a 6.5-inch digital instrument display, leather-trimmed upholstery, heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, ambient lighting, and a 110-volt power outlet. The Heritage Limited model adds a power moonroof, a navigation system, a wireless charging pad, and a 10-speaker B&O audio system.

The Bronco Sport comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360 technology, which includes pre-collision assist, a lane keeping system, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, a post-crash alert system, and automatic high beams. Available driver assist features include rear parking sensors and a 180-degree camera system.
