All three Super Duty trucks are available in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trim levels. All three versions feature some of the same prominent exterior features, including massive triple-lamp headlights, fog lights, silver-look grilles, metallic bumpers, and special badges under the side mirrors. Exterior features include deep-tinted glass, a rear window defroster, wheels up to 20 inches in size, a retractable rear step, LED brake lights, and an express-open and close sliding and tilted glass double-row sunroof with power sunshade.

The engines available to power the Super Duty line are so powerful they're competition-breaking. The first option is a 7.3-liter OHV PFI V-8 granting 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The second option is a 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbo-diesel generating 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque. The standard version at most trim levels is a 6.2-liter flex fuel V-8 engine providing 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. Every one of these engines comes tied to a hyper-efficient Torqshift 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission optimizes shift performance and drive ratios and allows for driving mode selection.

Let's take a look at those driving modes. Normal Mode runs your Super Duty without alteration. Slippery Mode increases traction to your tires in a way that is ideal for reducing the impact of rain and ice. Tow-Haul Mode sacrifices fuel efficiency for a remarkable torque increase. Deep Sand/Snow Mode helps you dig through the toughest snow and sand packs with ease.

If you want to go all-in on your Super Duty's capabilities off-road, choose the Tremor Package. This adds Rock Crawl Mode to the transmission, allowing you to participate in one of the most challenging forms of off-roading available. Towing, payload, and cargo capabilities vary wildly between models, trims, and engines, so ask your dealer for details on specific combinations.

Every Super Duty truck features a version of the SYNC Communication and Entertainment System. This system carries almost all of the trucks' interior electronic features. SYNC, also known as SYNC 1, allows you to activate its features with your voice. Through it, you can access your GPS, radio systems, and more. SYNC CONNECT, or SYNC 2, can connect to your smart devices, allowing you to access and use your favorite apps.

It also comes with a Wi-Fi system and connects to your FordPass app. The app will allow you to start, shut off, lock, and unlock your vehicle from anywhere with an internet connection. SYNC 3 adds a touch screen, improves voice activation, and more. Other interior features include a day/night rearview mirror, an air filtration system, and vinyl floor coverings.

Safety features on the Super Duty line include dual-stage air bags, the MyKey learning driver system, driveline traction control, and AdvanceTrac with roll stability control. The SYNC system also includes a 911 assist system, so you can contact emergency personnel easily.
